Think Tyson gives boxing a bad name? Wait until you see what FOX has up their sleeve

And you thought they reached a new low last week with the Glutton Bowl? Yeah, right!
Dubious celebs to duke it out
By Bill Keveney, USA TODAY
Who needs the Mike Tyson circus when you can watch the Long Island Lolita trade punches with the queen of skating scandals?
Amy Fisher and Tonya Harding will box on Fox in a one-hour March 13 special (9 p.m. ET/PT). The three-fight card — When Celebrities Attack, perhaps? — also features a battle of the former network stars, as The Partridge Family's Danny Bonaduce dukes it out with The Brady Bunch's Barry Williams for three two-minute rounds. A yet-to-be-announced bout also is planned.
The pugilists, who will wear weighted gloves and protective headgear, will get boxing training before the fights, to be taped next week before a studio audience.
Fans needn't worry the event will sully boxing's image.
"This is legitimate. We'll have a real referee, a real doctor, real announcers. To all the world, this will be a real boxing match," says Mike Darnell, Fox's alternative-programming chief.
Darnell, inspired by a promotional bout between Bonaduce and Donny Osmond, was looking for celebs who would see the fun in the event. That led to the two child TV stars, to disgraced skater Harding and to Fisher, 27, who, as a teen, shot her married boyfriend's wife in the face.
Possible future fighters include Paula Jones and Who Wants to Marry a Multi-Millionaire?'s Darva Conger, if there is another special and Darnell can find the right ring matchups.

They should have them box in a slightly larger "Chamber" and have the elements of wind/fire/rain/ice be part of the spectacle.
You could call it the "Celebrity Death Match Chamber".

You can never ruin the name of a sport whose sole object is to pummel the other guy. Besides boxing has had twice as many crooked judges as figure skating (i.e. Roy Jones Jr. in the Olympics, Holyfield-Lewis I)
