OK, I like reality shows, or at least some of them. But this scares me.
Bruckheimer's version of patriotism has nearly made me gag twice, with Armeggedon and Pearl Harbor... I'm not wild about the idea of him turning our REAL armed forces into some pandering schlock-fest series...
I really pray it's not as offensive and cheap as it sounds as first glance.

Well, Bruckheimer produced "The Amazing Race" which was great...
But honestly, this sounds interesting. It seems like it will truely be a REALITY series instead of taking 16 people to a remote island and claiming that is reality. We'll view a "behind the scenes" of the war and troops and we'll realize they have actual families and concerns, and fears, etc.
It could be fairly good if it's not made in a gimmicky way.

I don't understand the justification for Bruckheimer getting this kind of access and denying it to the American media. Doesn't this undercut the administration's credibility?
