I'm waiting until 30 minutes into it, so I can Tivo thru without watching commercials. Let's see if that wretched haircut is back again.

Brooke's only been there for a few months and she's delivering the eulogy? I was kind of hoping one of those kids would be her.

C'mon guys, the singing isn't as bad as you are making it out to be. Don't get me wrong, I don't like it, and if it was scrapped from future shows I wouldn't shed a tear, but it's hardly anything to make such a big deal of week after week.

Haha. I knew the 2-singing numbers were gonna get to the folks here.

What I liked was Ronnie hinting on maybe "hopping into a pool" with Danny sometime in the future....

You'd think Harper, the principal would have something to say to students. He just sat the funeral. Huh.

I thought the flashbacks killed it. He was only in a few episodes, it wasn't as if we forgot who he was. And the other two had no parts at all, which really makes no sense.

well they can't kill off all the students they introduce, there have to be other students at the school. they do flashbacks everytime a student dies

They didn't for that "Moby Dick" guy. Then again, he only had two real "scenes": the basketball court and the classroom.

The only thing worse than a sappy tearful eulogy for a character we knew and loved is a sappy and tearful eulogy for someone we never knew at all? Oh Brooke, why coudn't it have been you instead.

Why is is that every person who says they've been re-incarnated say they were either (or both) George Washington or Cleopatra in their past lives?

They're finally giving Principal Harper scenerios to really act on, I was starting to think he was always going to be a 1-dimensional wooden character.

Pretty sad episode. I liked Zach, he was a spazzy, but also a genius.

So they are finally pushing that Ronnie and Danny subplot along.

Gotta love Lipshitz's huzpa as George Washington.

Harry Senate is back! Yay! Gotta love a teacher who can cold-cock a crazed student.

The singing was okay, at least they can sing (unlike some on Ally McBeal).

Too bad Brooke wasn't in the car.

Man the fight scene was crazy punches being thrown. I didn't mind the singing parts really. Liked the episode, next week they use the N' word and Marla wants Danny fired. oooooo

It's pretty amazing how they just happened to have three employees who have professional quality singing voices......

I'm assuming none of them were actually singing.....

Actually, I think they do their own singing.

Rashida Jones (Stephen's office manager/secretary) is Quincy Jones's daughter, but I don't think she's got the pipes that the other 2 actresses do, she mainly sings harmony/backup. Marla's got that Aretha Franklin thing going on, and the one with the nice rack has a more wider range/octave voice.

Ok, I'm convinced Winslow has a higher death rate than Sunnydale High School.

Maybe they need a "Class Protector"?

I had to laugh when Ronnie commented to Mr. Hanson that "Harry USED to be funny."

I blurted out, "Yeah, that was last season when the writers were actually giving him good lines."

And THAT is where I take issue with these singing numbers. The 1st one was just ludicrous! Shouldn't the STUDENTS be singing here instead of the faculty? I mean really, what is the point/purpose of the kids playing backup for the teachers? Seems rather self-indulent on Marla's part if you ask me. Also - what was the point of them needing microphones to sing/practice in a standard classroom? The funeral - fine - though again I think that should have been STUDENTS and not the teachers, but the opening number was ridiculous.

At least on Ally last night, they conceeded that they sing just about every week!

I knew Brooke wasn't one of the dead kids, because the previews made it look too much like it was her. I kinda liked that jumpy kid.

When Marilyn was sitting and the piano and Ronnie came in to console her, how many other people were hoping that they would kiss? Yeah, I know it's unlikely, but I was hoping!

Guber: "You knock a student out and you think that's funny?"
Senate: "No, it would be funny if I knocked you out."

Honk!
