Spawn 4? Will it happen?
 

Hey People,

I'm curious if anyone knows about more animated Spawn movies being made or released.

As this deals with more episodes being produced, moving to the TV Talk forum.

I don't think Spawn 4 is the works as I work with a lot of people at Todd McFarlane's office. The next big entertainment project is the Spawn 2 movie. There will also be a "Todd McFarlane: The Devil You Know" DVD coming soon. Its an interview DVD mostly, with suppostedly a lot of extras.

Let's hope a 4th one isn't made. The first 3 were pretty sucky. Worst ending ever.
Frankly I'm glad he's working on the second movie now. He'll have a chance to amend the first ones bad points.

That's kind of the point; the ending of the 3rd one was sort of a cliffhanger and a lead-in to something actually happening in the series.

I'd much rather see a movie of the cartoon series continuing everything, than another really BAD live action movie like the first one. Besides, Keith David has the perfect spawn voice too :)

It will be very difficult to get the animation group back together after years off of the series. Spawn: The Animated Series was done by Madhouse, one of the top Japanese animation companies with such series as Trigun, CardCaptor Sakura and even some work on the modern Batman animated shows.

I doubt there will be a 4th season because I doubt HBO would agree to it. If they would go for Spawn they might as well go after other mature animated shows...but that is just my opinion.

My thoughts exactly. The worst episode of the HBO cartoon is still ten times better than that dreadful movie. Keith David also voiced Goliath in Gargoyles. That guy has a bad ass voice.
