That 80's Show 02-13
Okay...this is the worst show on television...quite possibly one of the worst ever.
So why am I drawn to it and watch it every week???

I hated the first episode, didn't watch the second, "kinda liked" the third, and for some WEIRD reason "kinda liked" the episode tonight.
The cheesy factor along with the sometimes subtle 80's decor that I look out for has me watching now.
I won't miss it when it disappears like I would many other shows, but for the time being I'll keep watching.
Just waiting for more punk-girl towel scenes!!!
And the record store owner has some "fun lines", the sarcastic over the top relationship between the three record store employees is entertaining. While ofcourse MANY MANY aspects of other characters are just TERRIBLE.
so to sum up, I don't think I like it, but I'm not sure, so like you I watch for some "unknown reason"!

I feel the same way... I think I've watched every episode, but I mainly just think to myself how bad it is, while being unable to look away. I think it is the bright neon colors, mohawks, and zebra patterns. It is almost hypnotic.
But, if they cancel it tomorrow, I won't care. It just goes to show you how crappy all the tv stations are, when I end up choosing to watch this show.

Indeed. I suppose if this show didn't come on when Enterprise is on, I'd bother to watch it. But the promos don't do anything for me, and based on reviews I've seen I probably won't like the show anyway.
And I *like* the 80s. At least I like the music and the hairstyles.
I agree, Jack. It's a shame Fox is promoting the hell out of this show, and supporting it wholeheartedly while killing off good shows like Family Guy, Futurama, and other shows.
One of these days, someone will train a monkey to take over for the current program director at Fox. Till then, we all have to suffer for that wanker's poor judgement in television programming.

Great story line too. . . Last week didn't Roger (asian guy) work at a BMW dealer, this week he works at a Pontiac Mazda dealer. Nice job paying attention to the details.

The show is not funny. The asian guy, Eddie Shin, is funny. I don't know how many episodes they taped before the pilot aired but it seems from the commercials that they're already putting him in more scenes.
I watched the pilot out of curiosity, keeping in mind that pilots always suck. I was completely amazed by Chyler Leigh, the punk, with her hair down. I wouldn't have guessed that the hair would make such a difference.
Watched half the 2nd or 3rd episode. The hair's back up, and the show is old already.

I agree with most of what you guys are saying,
but for some strange reason I watch this thing....
I really like the sister, I thought she was dingy (and she is) but its become funny watching her. The episode with her sailor boy friend was funny.
I wont miss it when its gone (yet) but I kind of get a weird kick out of it.

I know she was on Sweet Valley High, had a brief role on Dawson's creek, and was i nJoe dirt. But this is the first time I've actually seen anything she's been in
