In the name of all that is holy ... no more 'Dinner Roll' metaphors

Did anyone watch the moguls this evening?

For those who missed it!

"Oh my!!!! Johnny Mosely with the Dinner Roll. He baked up a tasty one tonight!!! He went to the store, bought the flour and sugar, sifted it, kneeded it, tossed it in the oven and baked up a delicious mouth-watering routine!!!"

"He must have used the high altitude baking instructions tonight!!!"

You think I'm exagerating don't you? Would you believe is was twice as bad as that? It was.

No, I know you are not exagerating. I was sitting at the computer and my wife was watching and when I heard all these lines I looked over figuring she had switched to Emeril.

Whoever the announcer is for moguls is bad, anyway. Sounds like he just graduated from the Columbia School of Sports Yelling.

It's a good thing they're not calling it Jelly Roll.

Of course there wasw the guy who got second in the halfpipe, Danny Kass, who had his Kass-a-roll. Didn't get nearly the attention.

And Mosely got a lot of talk considering he didn't even medal (this Olympics that is), though I'll have to admit his "dinner roll" maneuver was sweet. It is amazing to watch what some of these people can do in the freestyle events
