It's exactly like that actually. As I've said to friends, if you want to know the plot to the upcoming episodes of JAG just watch 60 Minutes. 60 Minutes BTW aired this story on January 20. I liked the end of this weeks JAG when it noted that on January 22 this policy was rescinded. And here I thought I was the only one who still watches 60 Minutes. :)

I liked how Mac didn't really care about the policy until they went off base to meet with the prosecuter and she had to wear the burka, and sit in the back of the car. Then when they got where they were going she finally ripped the veil off, seemed like she found it hard to breath under it in the heat of Saudi Arabia

The policy change also received press coverage, at least in my paper. Senator Levin (D - MI) is chairman of Joint Armed Services Committee in Congress and favored policy change which may be why it was covered here.

I noticed that Lt. Col. McSally was also one of Congress' "honored guests" at State of Union. Probably Congressional way of saying there had best be no retribution from military.
