I don't watch the show on TV, but I just watched "Best of" Volumes 3 & 4 and virtually every episode is about Thanksgiving! Surely there have to be good episodes where Thanksgiving isn't the main theme....right?

Those episodes were fan picked from a poll or something.

I really like TOW All The Thanksgivings (FLASHBACKS!) and The One Where Ross Got High.

However, Chandler in a box and The One with the Football are not the best.

Slightly off topic- but since you mentioned watching the "Best of" set, did you feel the added footage was worth the cost of the set?
I still have discs 3&4 sealed, and was debating returning them since at least Season 1 is about to be released in it's entirety.

On topic- I thing their Thanksgiving episodes are certainly some of the best. I love it when Joey makes Chandler lay in the box for 5 hours!

The extra stuf fon the best of sets are nice. I am keeping vols 1 - 4 and still getting the season sets.

I have to disagree. I think "The one with the football" was one of the best episodes. I do agree with "Chandler in a box", I could think of a few episodes that would be better then that, although I did still like it.

Okay, I don't remember everything that happened in that episode (Chandler in the box), but Monica's speech when they are ragging on her for dating Richard's son is SO funny:

"Fell in love with a gay ice skater, threw a girl's wooden leg in the fire, left a man at the altar, married a lesbian, LIVE IN A BOX!!!"
