"Relic Hunter" on DVD: Fireworks Entertainment wants to know if fans are interested.
I was unsure whether this would better fit the DVD or TV forum. Ultimately, I decided the fans are probably in here.
Fireworks Entertainment is trying to get an idea of how many fans would be interested in having Relic Hunter on DVD, so they set up a pre-pre-order page here.
I really hope this happens. I love Indiana Jones-type adventure stuff, and this seems to be the only show that has it nowadays.
From http://www.watchfireworks.com/rhorderform/
"Fireworks Entertainment is pleased to announce the Relic Hunter Season One
DVD Collection (22 X 1hr episodes). Before we go ahead and make the set
available to the public, we need to know approximately how many of you loyal
Relic Hunter fans would be willing to order a set. Please take a moment and
fill out the pre-order form ( http://www.watchfireworks.com/rhorderform/ ).
You will not be asked for your credit card, and we will contact you by email
if and when the sets are produced. Please only one submission per person,
and no spamming as we check and filter your submissions everyday."

Haha ... shows like this work at 3pm on Saturday afternoon or at 1am Sunday night, but on DVD? I don't think so. Boobies are nice and all, but I'll stick with V.I.P.

I really like Tia Carrera but I don't think this show is very good I'll just watch Waynes World a few times. But who knows maybe we should ask anyways so that studios get the hint that we want more tv shows on dvd.

I'm sure there are people out there who will buy it, but as everyone has already said, it's a syndicated late night/afternoon show. Granted, Hercules and Xena once were too and they built an enormous fan base, but then so is Cleopatra 2025 and about a half dozen other forgettable titles.
