well this was a pretty good epsisode. i think that it sets the stage for the rest of the season and the campaign pretty well with the results of the state of the union speech. i wish that there could've been more background with sam and lisa though. maybe some flashbacks to see who was really right about the reason for the breakup.

josh and amy looks to be an interesting little subplot for awhile. however, i don't think that it will last too long, seeing as how josh already has two women he likes, those being joey and donna. speaking of joey....

it was good to see her again. her new haircut looked pretty good. if they were to make anyone else a regular part of the cast next year i would vote for her.

I really liked this episode. The previews made it out to be somewhat cheesy, but I was pleasantly surprised.

Loved the interaction between Amy and Josh.
Joey needs more screen time.
Didn't understand why Toby kept asking for pie - I know, it seems like one of his normal idiosyncrasies/jokes, but there seems to be an awful lot of them - I remember an episode in the past where he just lost his train of thought 3 times in the space of five minutes. Are we being set up for a very special "Toby has Alzheimer's" episode? :)

For some reasion, this episode got me thinking of a huge plot hole. Does anyone remember the first season, when Moira Kelly was on? I forgot what character she played, but all I remember was at the start of the second season, she was nowhere to be found, and no one ever mentioned her again. Was there some an episode that I missed? Or is there some retcon going on?

the only part i found funny was C.J. offering to 'do' Sam right there on the couch.

I want more of Amy/Josh. Or just Amy. :D

I love this show, it's definatley one of my top 3 favorite shows on TV, but I wish they would stop with the 'jumping back and forth between timelines' stuff. My feeble brain has a hard enough time trying to follow whats going on without trying to remember in what order everything is happening.

Did I miss Leo? or was he not in this episode?

Rollo Tomasi I remember hearing that Moira Kelly's character just wasn't going anywhere so they wrote her off the show, I don't think any explanation was ever given as to why she wasn't there anymore.

mandy's (moira kelly) exit was never officially explained. she was just there one minute and gone the next. the whole plot thread with lisa this week was another one of those plot threads that people were wondering if it would ever be explained or not. in the season 2 premiere during the flashbacks, we first heard about lisa when josh and sam were talking at sam's law office. now we actually have some explanation about it. cheers to AS! now if we could just find out about mandy.

What an incredible episode. The "we almost cured Cancer" idea was wonderful.

Leo was in the show. Don't remember him speaking, but he was standing around during all the meetings.

This was a very well written episode as usual. There is no better written show on TV. I don't think there has ever been for that matter. It's amazing how they can mix real world and this world together and make it work. This may not be my favorite show but it deserves Best Drama.

It has my vote this year. Last year, I was torn between The Sopranos and The West Wing and ultimately decided on The West Wing. This season, I don't think there's any competition (which is a little unfair since The Sopranos is off in never-never land right now).

"So many women, so little charm."

A good dose of Amy, Joey and Donna....yes, it was a good episode. Oh yeay, aside from the women I thought it was a great episode as well. Seems to me that they oversold it as an extra special Rob Lowe episode though.

While we are on the subject of where are they now. Where has the cute southern republican lawyer been. Sorry can't remember her name. They really haven't used her character enough. I also thought this was a good episode. I could have done without the jumping back and forth in time as someone previously posted. They have done that enough this season in my opinion.
