Will Oprah ever ask Dave to be a guest on his show?

I love how the two people in the Today Show crowd had that sign that said "Oprah - Call Letterman". :lol:


At least he stopped keeping that Oprah journal.

That's great that someone had a sign. I wonder, does Oprah really not like Dave? And if so, did it start with the Oprah/Uma bit at the Oscars or does it run even deeper than that?

He mentioned that he stuck Oprah with his restaurant bill one time, although I doubt she would take that too seriously. Dave and Oprah were supposedly eating at the same restaurant, and when Dave's check came, he pointed at Oprah and said, "She'll pay for it." Oprah saw Dave and the waiter looking at her, so she smiled and waved, which the waiter took as a sign that Dave was telling the truth. Dave left the restaurant, and his bill went to Oprah.

I hope I didn't mangle that story too bad. That's what I remember Dave mentioning on his show a few weeks back. Who knows... maybe the story's not even true?

I watch Lettermen every Friday or so... that's normally whne I find the time, and I find it a funny running gag. I think last I heard was Oprah was in an interview and asked if she'd have Dave on... she said "No... not yet" :D

He's actually still keeping the Oprah log. But, did anyone else see the video of the protesters outside of Oprah's studios in Chicago. That's cool.
