What happened to "The Ellen Show"?

Has this show been cancelled? Two weeks in a row it hasn't been on. I believe the first week it was a Christmas show. But this week, a Bloopers type show!?? Not a good sign. I hope CBS doesn't pull the plug on this one.

I'm pretty sure it's been more than two weeks.
Fortunately, I read recently that it's been picked up for next season.

Wasn't it moved to Mondays? I remember reading something about the show being moved to after "Everybody Loves Raymond".

OMG! I just looked in this week's TV Guide, and sure enough, it's on Monday night. I can't believe I've missed several episodes because I didn't know they'd moved it.

Thanks for the info!

Well, good news everyone. Apparently Ellen wasn't on the past two Mondays. I should have checked my Season Pass/upcoming episodes on TIVO. It showed tomorrow (12/10) and the following Monday, so far. The last episode that taped was 11/16. I should have checked this first, sorry. But this is GREAT news that the show is being moved from that Dead Zone Friday night time slot. No one was watching. Now, it'll have a chance for people to see what a good show it is. They previewed the show one other time on Monday night and it received excellent ratings.

Also, for those who are interested, Mary Tyler Moore is guesting on an upcoming episode. Playing Ellen's favorite aunt. And apparently she (Moore) and Leachman don't exactly get along. Or something like that. Should be interesting. A reunion for Moore and Leachman.

Thank you CBS for giving this show the chance it deserves!

It's about time they moved it from the Friday spot. I loved her old show before it got way off on a tangent if you know what I mean, not that I had any problem with the gay storyline, it just got a little weird at times. I've wanted to see the new show but Friday nights are just stupid for any new show. It's like the kiss of death. Who watches shows on Fridays?

That is good news; thank you!! I'm glad I didn't miss any episodes.

Now I've gotta make sure I don't forget to watch it tomorrow night.
