Does anyone remember this morning cartoon show?

I remember a cartoon based on those Mad Max toys. At least that's what I think the toys were called. I just remember the kid had that red cap that allowed him access to portals. They also had that Conan like character named Norman.
Anyway I remember really liking this show back when it was on, and I was wondering what everyone else thought of it. Did I just like it because I was young and didn't know any better, or was it actually a good show?

I remember this show. The other character was a bird/owl?

Yeah I couldn't remember what kind of bird he was so I didn't even bother mentioning him.

I remember that show.

There was a joke about always calling the bird (virgil) a chicken and he would say that he was a "fowl actually".

The show was actually entertaining with a good storyline.

Mighty Max :)
and Norman ruled lol you could see the names switched around so easily and it would make more sense between Norman the big Conan-like character and the owl thing Virgil :) I had all the toys too, I think it was actually a pretty interesting show, maybe I was too young too.

Was not Mighty Max the guy equivalent to Polly Pocket?

I believe I had some of the toys. I slighty remember the cartoon.
