JUSTICE LEAGUE Premiere Delivers Cartoon Network's Largest Adults 18-34 Rating Ever; Dexter's Laboratory Marathon Also Ignites Ratings Increases Across All Demographics


Powering its way into the record books, Cartoon Network's newest original series, JUSTICE LEAGUE, premiered Saturday, Nov. 17 (7-8:30 p.m.), with the largest adults 18-34 rating (1.5, up 114 percent) and delivery (701,000, up 125 percent) of any telecast in the network's history. The new DC Comics action-adventure series also charted a 2.1 household rating and delivered 1,672,000 homes, the highest household delivery ever for a Cartoon Network premiere and the second-highest household rating (behind Courage the Cowardly Dog). Kids 6-11 and Tweens 9-14 turned out in droves as well, scoring a 4.6 (up 24 percent) and a 3.3 rating (up 83 percent), respectively. Delivery also increased by 42 percent and 104 percent vs. last year. A total of 4, 320,000 different viewers tuned into the premiere.

I love this show. The Flash is great.

Flash is a wiseass. :) His personality is like Gambit of Fox's X-Men. I watched one episode and need to catch another. Kind of dry like the new Batman series. Could you a bit of humor.

Flash is great, but he doesn't make up for the fact that this show is pretty weak. I thought this was supposed to be an intelligent show. So far, they haven't done anything but "and the moral of the story is ..." episodes.

Yeah, I guess the good ratings are nice, but it is still a weak show. Batman: The Animated series (and to a slightly lesser degree Superman and BAt Beyond) was a well oiled machine, whereas Justice League is in serious need of a tune up. I dont expect the ratings to continue to be so high if they keep turning out weak product. I'm desperately hoping the League of Doom will lend some much needed creativity and better story ideas to the series.

Since they've got the space station already, I'd love to see a Prometheus storyline like in the beginning of the current JLA comic book series. Someone who can exploit each members powers. Of course, they don't have Plasticman or Huntress so it might not work out so well, but it's a cool idea.

I keep forgetting to watch it!! SO, is The Flash still the egomaniac jackass he was on Superman? :)

This was probably one of the most hyped shows of the year. I never miss it especially their widescreen presentation. I like the characters and the way they interact with each other. The Flash stands out as hyperactive egomainiac.

When will they start from the beginning again? Now that Replay has all the channels right, I'd like to catch up on this asap.

Mon and Fri are full screen, Sun is widescreen. First three eps (Secret Origins) will be repeated starting 12/17. The schedule is only given through 1/6, but my guess would be In Blackest Night pts 1 and 2 will be repeated as well in the not too distant future. Incidentally, In Blackest Night 1 & 2 was SO much better than Secret Origins 1, 2, & 3 in my opinion. They will hopefully hit their stride (like Batman TAS) soon.

No problem at all, Elektra! By now the previous posts were buried 3 pages back at least - no biggie. :) And I too understand about wanting to watch from the beginning in order - the only way to go if it's at all possible, imho. :D Have fun watching!

Yup....sadly...Flash's personality seems to be modeled on the worst kind of used-car salesman.

When the Legion of Doom is introduced, I'll come back and watch it. Until then, the show is just to the left of suckiness.
