My cable company is the spawn of satan and doesn't carry Cartoon Network. Keep thinking of investing in a directTV set up but since we're likely to move before the end of the year I figure I'll wait 'til then. Hopefully they'll put these out on DVD before TOO long!

I have it marked on my calendar for 7pm EST. I guess I should go check that time then. Also, I think it regularly airs on Monday nights at 9:30pm after that premiere.

Serious?!?!?... It's the Justice League. Its superpowered do-gooders fighting off world threatening villains, not The Dark Night Returns. No, I think the intention is to go on the side of high adventure over soap opera plotting, just a good old comic book, save the world, fantasy, like Justice League has usually been...

Probably the most anticipated show in CN history. The web is buzzing. Everybody setting their VCRs. Hope it comes out on DVD by Christmas or early spring.

Damn Comcast! Hundreds of channels on my digital cable and they don't have Cartoon Network. Instead they offer us Toon Disney.

I cannot wait till this airs! I have been waiting since they announced they were working on it. However, boo and hiss I want the HAL JORDAN Green Lantern! I mean he is the main Green Lantern and all. And Hawkgirl? What is that?

The voice actors:
Kevin Conroy ..... Batman
George Newbern ..... Superman
Phil LaMarr ..... Green Lantern
Susan Eisenberg ..... Wonder Woman
Maria Canals ..... Hawkgirl
Carl Lumbly ..... Martian Manhunter
Michael Rosenbaum ..... The Flash
Mark Hamill .... The Joker
Clancy Brown ..... Lex Luthor

Guess they couldn't get Tim Daly to come back to voice Supe and no Charlie Schlatter (Diagnosis Murder) to do the Flash as he did on the guest appearance of the Flash on the Batman/Superman Adventures.

As you know they gotta get the non white and non male audience to watch too. So the Black GL and the Female part of the Hawkman team is the way to go. And when you think about it, having these 2 was better than have them create lame new characters to attract other groups like the original series did.

Well Steel is black, and they have Huntress and Wonder Woman as well -- not to mention Oracle.

Hey, here's some programming info regarding Justice League...

The 90 min. premiere will be Sat., Nov. 17th at 7p and replayed Sunday the 18th at 830p.

From there, new episodes will air Mondays at 930p and replayed Fridays at 7p and Sundays at 830p.

Not sure if this is common knowledge or not, but the Sunday premiere and all Sunday replays will be broadcast in WIDESCREEN.

I would have rather seen Oracle also. She could have headed up things in whatever the command center is.

Anyway, did anyone see the commercial for it? It is now airing on the cartoon netowork.

You can download it at:

Are you sure. This is basically what I have seen on all the sites:

"The Justice League Premiere will be broadcast in fullscreen on the 17th. The day after, it will be rebroadcast in Widescreen. "

Thanks for the link.

I see the potential for some really cool tattoos based on the artwork on the site.

Yes, I'm sure. What you wrote is correct, it just left out that all of the Sunday plays will be widescreen as well. I work for the network and just double-checked with Programming to make sure this info is correct. I'm surprised the network hasn't been played this up more especially since its a little more costly to get two versions (FF and Wide) of the same program.

Batman Beyond was also done originally in Widescreen, but it is always shown full-frame. I am not sure if they did this back when Batman: TAS was on or not (making the shows in widescreen), but it may have been that way back then as well.
