Michael Jackson's Halloween Special
Ready to watch The Amazing Race, last night I wound up watching Michael Jackson's Halloween Special on MTV. This was a total surprise, did anyone else catch this?
For those who haven't seen it: lots of dancing and Michael asking, "Did I scare you?" and lots of ghouls, kinda like Thriller except these ghouls are a more Victorian/Midevial sort, and they're mixed in with some incredible effects.
And then when the credits came up it showed "Directed by Stan Winston" and "Story by Stephen King and Michael Jackson". Stan Winston? Stephen King? Man they rock, and based on that alone I'm up for a second viewing.
Anyone else catch it?

It's just an hour version of "Ghost" a MJ short film that was shown in theaters during a Stephen King movie...I can't remember which. It was a really music video, with two of the songs taken from that one album...HIStory or something...still, first time I saw it. I couldn't believe he was actually a mayor, he's believable as a middle aged obese white man.

I only caught the tail end of the video. Interesting as I had never seen it either. This must have been prior to MJ converting to a Jehovah's Witness and stating he would no longer do the horror stuff as he did for Thriller.

I am a Michael Jackson fan, but I just can't miss an episode of the amazing Amazing Race reality game show. The episode this week was quite exciting. Is anyone going to buy Michael Jackson's new album. I won't...i'll stick with Thriller and Off the Wall, two of the greatest albums ever made!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
