well, there was the great series of animal-alien shows like:

silverhawks, thundercats and tigersharks

they all involved crashing on some distant planet and some change occuring within the main characters by the end of the show.

I think you can add Transformers to that list as well.

The "crash into the planet and changes ensue" list, not the "how we got our pet list". Unless you wanta count that little b*tch Spike.
