I just now watching the TiVo buffer (was busy watching the Tito/Hopkins rebroadcast), but the Bush opening was kickass.

I don't remember, but I didn't see the skit as making fun of bush, it was more of a "you're gonna die bin laden" kind of thing

Overall, the best episode I can remember in the last 2 seasons.

On the topic of Bush, there was small Bush ribbing, but most of it was against bin Laden. Bush said something like this:

"You made a big mistake, bin Laden. If you wanted to win, you should have challenged me to a game of scrabble ... or a beard-off. Cuz I have no beard ... and when I try to grow one, it come in patchy in parts."

That kind of stuff. I was pretty funny.

Anyone else notice that Maya Rudolph was almost complelte MIA in that one?

Best moment: Shark Attack

I loved the Emmy Pre-Show ... miss Horatio Sanz as the "Too Sexy" guy from The How Do You Say ... ah Yes ... Show.

Even the last 30 minutes were pretty good. I'M APPROVED!!!

Sean William Scott is just a horrible actor, comedy or otherwise. Every skit was weakened by his very presence. The "semen in the beer" monologue got old, fast.

Weekend Update was the best part of the show, loved the "penis in the bottle" joke, and of course the shark attack :)

Oh, and the "patriotic" Will Ferrell sketch was probably the most disgusting thing I've seen on the show since Julianne Marguilies and the family that regurgitated food into each others' mouths :yack: But still funny :)

I'm glad Amy Poehler (of Upright Citizens Brigade fame) actually got a considerable amount of sketch time (compared to her zero sketches in the premiere ) ). The porn star sketch was hilarious :)

"How many have you done?"
"Oh, about 71 in one film - oh, you mean movies!" :lol:

Who is next weeks "star" and alleged musical act.

Next week is Drew Barrymore and I forget the musical group...

why did they choose stiffler to host? not that it necessarily was a bad show this week but what has he done to merit hosting snl anyway?
