God Bless John Stewart and the Daily Show...

Heyo,

I just saw the repeat of last night's show and I absolutely love the fact that they just went ahead and made fun of Bin Laden. Nothing tasteless, but still bold. I laughed out loud when Osama decides disguise himself with a second beard! ;-) Mel Brooks one said that demonizing Hitler served no purpose. If you wanted to destroy his image, make a joke out of him. Hence, "Springtime for Hitler..." ;-)

I agree. TDS finally getting back into its groove has done a lot to help mend my post-9/11 depression. Along with the superb recent issue of The Onion, it's been proven that you can broach this subject with taste.

The end of irony? God, I hope not.

The other night, when Jon deadpanned how smoking anti-bacterial soap won't protect you from bio-terrorism, I almost lost it.
