Survivor 3 "Pick 'Em," Anyone?
 

Yahoo has a pick-em game up for the upcoming Survivor series. It's really simple: you basically wager points on the people you think are most likely to be voted out. If anybody is interested, we could set up a DVDTalk league:

Considering the incredible level of quality of this new Fall season so far, I'm debating whether I'll watch Survivor this time around. I was skeptical that the second show could create the same magic as the first, and I was proven wrong. A third time though? I'm not sure. If I do decide to watch, I'll definitely play along with you guys.

Well, I had lots of fun last season spoiling or discussing the episodes. I guess I have more of a life right now, as I don't get nearly as much time checking the news and info on survivor.
I did catch tonight's preview though and it was interesting to have a quick look at the contestants. I don't remember the names, but there were some whose attitudes if they'll be like in the videos, will get them booted very quickly...

It looks to me like the Samburu's are a stronger team but if their side is first I think it would be Frank orTeresa. If from Boran it would be Diane, Kim, Lex or Tom.

I went for the risk it all approach although I was afraid Lex might go instead of Diane.I never suspected Clarence to be at risk, though.

Anyway, we've gotten off to a good start :)

The deadpool scores are not tallied yet, and I'm going to sleep now :)

:lol: Yeah, I guess that's why I'm never a big winner in Vegas. ;) It was hard to figure out (without knowing hardly anything) what could happen before watching the episode. However, I did throw 15 points at Diane (as well as Tom, which was a mistake). She was also my pick in the Dead Pool.

Boran made the right decision in not voting off Clarence. Look what happened with Kel in Survivor 2.

True. I wasted some time yesterday morning, checking some boards and I learned that whenever there's an almost unanimous consensus, there won't be too much room for surprise. I went with that. Now, after watching the first episode I have some people I am 99% sure they will make it to the merge. The order in which the others are going to be booted is not clear however and it depends on who wins/looses IC's. That's where spoiling comes into play because otherwise the teams are quite even physically...

I agree, smart strategic decision on keeping Clarence. I like Tom, as being a straight person, but he has to be a bit smarter.
