Enterprise in Widescreen!!!
 

I am very happy to announce that paramount has finally gotten off their butts and displayed a Star Trek series in it's intended ratio. This is something I have been hoping for for ages!!!!!

Quick question though, are any of the other series in widescreen? or are they all filmed in 1.33:1?

There are some, I can't remember which. But there's one series on HBO called "Band of Brothers" that filmed in widescreen format.

er has been in widescreen for a season, 16:9 I think

Buffy since Season 3, Angel since the beginning, and they are showing Angel in widescreen this year, and I've heard rumors that the DVDs for Buffy Season 4 and beyond will be widescreen.

It sure sucks to not have UPN. I am really looking forward to Enterprise.

(and just for the record, B5 was shot in widescreen, but wasn't SHOWN in widescreen until the syndication - it aired in full-frame originally).

WTF is up with the soundtrack to Enterprise? I was looking for somebody talking not some dumb ass pop song!!

technical question. tv widescreen. is it really widescreen or is it just masking. do they really use a negative that is wider like movies?
