Nite Time. It was ('is' actually, but I'm not involved anymore) a student run television show at Washington State University (wooo Cable 8!) that I was involved in.

We put on some damn good shows in the first two sememsters (Real World Pullman, Spring Break Pullman, White Trash Olympics). Damn good stuff. I'd love to get my hands on some tapes then put clips on the internet.

The following shows are currently on TV, so you don't have to miss them:
Emergency
WKRP in Cincinatti
MASH
Charlie's Angels

I would love to see BJ and the Bear for sentimental reasons, but probably wouldn't watch a season of it. I thought I was the only one that watched Riptide. I only saw it dubbed in German, so it would be cool to see the original. The Fall Guy was a great show. I wish it was on TV somewhere.
Also, Simon & Simon is off the air again. I think A&E aired many of the episodes a few years ago. I want it back!

Would you be thinking of "Lancelot Link - Secret Chimp" by any chance?

Nope, you weren't the only one! I had a major crush on Joe Penny back then...

Speaking of German dubbing: Are you familiar with the German detective show "Derrick"? It would be great to see a few episodes of it again. (It was broadcast in my area on a channel that aired international programming back in the 80s).

Why didn't anyone say The Facts Of Life?

I know everyone here remembers it.
Totie,Joe,Blair,the fat one.

You take the good,You take the bad, and then you have the facts of life. The facts of life..........

Classic TV.All new shows should be just like this one.
Then I would have more time to read some books.

Misfits of Science (need I say more?)
Voyagers (loved that omni )
Probe (Parker Stevenson solving mysteries - yay! )
Wonder Woman (on dvd, I know sci fi airs them sometimes)
Buck Rogers
Battlestar Galactica
Bosom Buddies

and for the record, can't resist, sorry! The song goes:
"you take the good, you take the bad, you take them both and there you have the facts of life, the facts of life..." And the main characters are Blair, Jo, Natalie and Tootie (short for Dorothy).

By the way, How sad is it that you corrected me.We should both hang our heads for admitting we have seen the show.

Actually, I have never seen that show before in my life.I have only heard other people talk about it before.
