Possiblle Spoiler What happened at the end of Arliss?
Don't know if anyone out there is watching this show but my #$%#$ VCR cut off the last 5 minutes of the show.
Anyone know who he let go at the end? Dumb Ass that I am I forgot to tape the encore last night. Thanks! |
I didn't watch the whole show (I hate Arli$$, think it's the worst crap HBO has ever put on TV and think that Robert Wuhl must have HBO's nuts in a vice grip to keep this show on TV), but there was no big name that got fired at the end. Since I didn't watch the whole show I am guessing Arli$$ brought in these 2 people to get him out of his problem and in the end he fired them. I am guessing it was an efficiency expert and a consultant, it was a man and lady. He had a party at the end where he said if his company is going down that everyone's going with him. I certainly hope the show never sees the light of day again :).

That is correct. The efficiency experts seen in the first part of the episode were let go. They pointed out that this would not solve his financial issues. He agreed but then pointed out that his perceived deficit was less than the fee they had been charging him.
As for the show quality - yeah, it's a lightweight, but who cares. It entertains in a manner that a network show cannot. |

I don't look forward to it but its one of 3 shows I'm currently watching on TV. (Sex.., 6 feet and Arla$$) :) |
You only have this Sunday left with Six Feet Under, then all 3 are on hiatus at least until January (in Sex and the City's case, with 6 new episodes in January). Oh well, Band of Brothers is coming up and there's Sopranos reruns to watch in the meantime. Anyone know how long of a miniseries Band of Brothers is going to be?
