I wasn't even born yet, but does it have to do with Letterman's short-lived morning show??
On a side note, I saw a license plate today that read: "SEPT2098"... anyone know the significance?

I'm officially intrigued. June 29, 1980 was a Sunday that I know for sure. T.V. shows would have been in repeats (typical season ran October. thru March) so I'm going to say it was either 1. News 2.Sports or 3. the birth of an actor or actress who would now be 21 years old.
Any hints?

June 29th, 1980... has to be one of two things.
Seinfeld's consecutive vomitless streak begins.
or
The guy who composed the theme song to "Match Game" dies of a cerebral hemorrhage.
Take your pick

I hope that's right, because I wasted 15 minutes of my life trying to find that.

Yes that was it. And he didn't vomit again for the next 14 years ...
