I thought this was a pretty good episode. The Leslie Jones skit where she's learning etiquette was hilarious.

This was the first really enjoyable episode in a long time. Far from perfect mind you but Emma Thompson surprised me in being very good. A few notable things for me; it was the first opening not ruined by a cast member (read Leslie Jones) coming out and interrupting the host. I actually enjoyed Leslie in the royal skit and she is usually like nails on the chalkboard. My wife actually got teary with the Tina Fey/Emma/Poller bit.
The cold open was good with the lap dog GOP and actually got funnier as it went along. i did think the Kate Mckinnon Audible commercial was part of the show as I have no idea what that was all about (and dont care)

Watched the entire series live back in the day and I cant say I remember her being on Cheers to be honest. ( I rewatched the first season a year ago but that was as far as I got) I associate her with Love Actually and similar Rom Com kind of things not so much comedy but that movie also is not something I enjoy much....

It was one episode (although they brought back the character on Frasier, but no longer played by Thompson). She was children's singer "Nanny G", who Frasier recognized as Nannette Goldman, his first wife. Nanny still harbors feelings for Frasier, and turns the childrens' songs meant for Freddie into throaty come-ons to Frasier, enraging Lilith. It's one of the funniest episodes of the entire series.

Thompson did stand up comedy early in her career.
I am surprised nobody on the internet complained about the etiquette sketch thinking it was racist
Pete Davidson saying you see me in photos and all these places and you probably assume I have my own place lol.
The Jonas Bros still suck.
Kenan has a new show but he still won't leave SNL

Thompson, who has become the heart and soul of SNL during his tenure, has repeatedly said he has no plans to quit SNL even with its ever-expanding portfolio. “It’s the best job in the world,” Thompson said recently on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. “I can’t see myself just walking away from it like that, even with how busy I’ve been with another show on NBC called Bring the Funny.”

My favorite part of the episode was the ending credits where Leslie Jones was wearing the same shirt (an Arya shirt as the Air Jordan logo) I was wearing while watching it.
