I'm just curious if this is how it is with everyone else, or just my city. Of course I've got my color/brightness/contrast etc.. settings on my TV set right, and all of the other cable channels look great.
However, NBC seems to be over saturated, too red, too blue, etc.. People have an overly colored unnatural 'tan from a bottle' look. All the other channels are fine. Is this something NBC does, does anyone else experience this? Or is it just my crappy cable co? |
Oh, I'm sorry. I thought this thread was going to be about the cast of Friends. :)

Haven't had NBC in months because of Dish Network and Young dispute, but I know what you're talking about (incidentally, it was fine in the bay area prior to the dispute problem).
I do have this problem with the wb, though. I get 3 wb channels, and 2 are fine, but the third has hyper-saturated colors like you described. I can only assume it's the broadcaster/affiliate's issue, since all other channels look normal. |

My NBC station (Pittsburgh) looks fine on my cable. On the DIsh network I have the New York and LA feeds. The LA feed has great quality whereas the NYC one is a bit washed out/faded.

Originally posted by renaldow ] Actually, I've found out it's the local affilliate that's the problem. I unhooked cable and tuned it in regularly, and it's broadcast that way here. |
