Yup,

Slater good, Zach bad. Slater learned to drive on an army base, taught by his dad, and his birthday was before Zach's, AND he restored an old junker, so Zach set him up, Kelly got injured, etc etc, Zach had to repeat, the rest finished on time.

:)

BTW Don't forget Zach's pimple cream!

Question: What was the real name of Crater Face?

And... when did Zach get two dads?!?! I don't remember that episode.

Not one episode... one dad (Peter) made Zack's life difficult when he tried to hook up with Miss Bliss (Ponch was not proud). The other dad (Derrek) appeared later when Zack got a bad grade, but was a big time business man and didn't show Zack the love and attention he needed *sniffle*. His mom, of course, was prominent through most of his junior year. By then Derrek was such a big business man that he was on a perpetual business trip.

You made a typo and said "commend" instead of "condemn" :)

Das, I saw both episodes, and I thought it was the same dad! It was never explained as him having two dads. You think it was just a case of not being able to get the first actor that second time?

My question still stands :)

Also, what was the name of the server/actor?

No, it's never explained. It's also never explained how each student belongs to 17 afterschool clubs, attends 31 different classes during an average week, and is the captain of 5 varsity sports. It's also never explained how a school large enough to require 2 floors has an auditorium that seats about 20 people and on graduation night, some 12 people got their diplomas. :) Maybe Peter didn't want to make the move to the Palisades from Indianapolis, and Derrek stepped (step ...) in. Or perhaps Zack was genetically engineered in a lab like Ahnold in "Twins." How else could he get a 1502 on the SAT?

Seriously, as one dad was on "Good Morning, Miss Bliss" and the other appeared 2 years later on "Saved by the Bell," I'm sure they either didn't want Bob Pine or couldn't get him because he was busy writing scripts for the CHiPs remake.

As for your question, what do you mean by server? You mean Max?

Hint: He's not related to Fairfax from "Payback," but he's got a great name for "The Name Game"

I don't know. There are plenty of questions still on the table, and I'm trying not to answer them.

I dont see them. what are they? i probably don't know the answers anyway

das Monkey 06-22-01 01:50 PM

Well, then, I'll add some ... no more complaining till they're answered :) (they still don't have Crater Face right, no one has the masquerade ball right, ...) ...

On a scale of 1 to 10, how gay was "The Sprain"?
Who does Jesse want to sing with?
What cool group does Zack want to join?
Of the major 6 characters, what two guy-girl relationships are never explored?
When an alumnus of Bayside leaves the school a bunch of money and the guys compete against the girls, what are the competitions, who wins them, and what are the victory cheers?

Is that enough? :)

the Sprain was 'hella-gay', but we've decided not to use "gay" as an insult term (loooong thread on Other)

don't know that one

some people with a black jacket with a red logo

screech-jesse, screech-kelley (but that might have been hinted at)

they do tug of war, (rackin my brain here...haven't seen the show in years), cooking (the guys cheat on this one), cant remember what else.

Zack-Jessie and Screech-Jessie?

I know that there is one episode where Kelly has a major crush on Screech after he tutors her in science.

das Monkey 06-22-01 02:10 PM

Re: gay ... tough - I don't want to bring this argument up again, but a word can have 2 different and unrelated meanings. This is that case. If I said it was "lame" I don't mean it's a horse with a bad leg. If I said it was "cool" I don't mean it's temperature is lower than average. If we can have a thread with people saying shitty, shitty, fag, fag, I can say "The Sprain" is gay :)

As for the topic at hand, Screech and Kelly were hinted at when Kelly was having trouble with chemistry, and Screech with some help from Kevin, gave her "private tutoring" if you know what I mean :)

Zack and Jessie are hinted at a couple of times, most notably when Jessie teaches Zack to dance ... remember, while everyone else was at Baseball Camp, he was at Dance Camp.

the only other one i can think of is Slater-Lisa, that might have not happened. I think Zack was pretty much a player and was with everyone.

Slater and Lisa went to a dance or something like that in one episode. Slater has dated all 3 of the girls "to varying degrees."

If this is the case, then my question is flawed, but for the life of me, I cannot remember. What I figured was:

Zack-Kelly - duh
Zack-Lisa - once at JFK, a few isolated times at Bayside
Zack-Jesse - dancing lessons

Slater-Kelly - duh
Slater-Jesse - duh

Screech-Lisa - duh
Screech-Kelly - chemistry tutoring

I can't think of a Slater-Lisa moment or a Screech-Jesse moment, but as has been shown through three pages of this thread, our memories aren't what they used to be :)

LBPound 06-22-01 08:27 PM

So the only question to ask now is Rysher Entertainment (sometime before they release Oz on DVD) gonna release Saved by the Bell on DVD by season or a best-of? And will they be re-mastered in 5.1? :)

Remember the Murder Mystery Episode and the one where Miss Bliss did that bad thing where the class had a trial....why does TBS only show this at the crack of dawn?? My memory isn't what it used to be and I would like to get a SBTB fill sometime.

LBPound 06-22-01 08:33 PM

Oh and who can forget the classic U2 Concert Ticket Campout/Candid Video episode?

And the one where Jessie wanted to stop the delivery of styrofoam cups...which also happened to be Senior Cut Day? (CHOCOLATE GRASSHOPPERS!)

And then the beloved SAT episode....Stansbury! Who would have thought that Preppy would get a 1502?!

And the one where Screech and Zack put a recorder in Kelly's bedroom and listen in?

And the boys vs. girls red-blue competition one?

And the Frog Dissection episode?

And the "Screech can see into the future one"?

And the one where Kelly kissed that schmuck who was working at the Max and part II had Zack and Kelly deciding it was time to part for a while?

And the one where that guy from the max pretended to be Zack's dad and the water-dunk tank fiasco?

And the Christmas one where they saw the homeless guy?

Anyone want to start an ALF thread to shut me up?

das Monkey 06-22-01 09:04 PM

To quote Jesse ... "tell me how am I supposed to live without you ... tell me how am I supposed to carry on ... tell me how am I supposed to live without you ... when all that I've been living for is gone ... when all that I've been living for is go-one." *sniffle*

anyone know what the deal with the Tori episodes was? did they have contract problems with jesse and kelly?

They're both bitches and -- like most stars -- forgot their roots. If I'm not mistaken, they both up and decided to leave the show midway through it's final season. Why? That I don't know, but it's odd to want to leave a show halfway through it's Senior year. Perhaps it was behind the scenes stuff or perhaps they're just ungrateful bitches. Either way, the way I understand it, they filmed the graduation and various other episodes quickly before TAT and EB left and then brought in Tori to fill the gaps. I think they also filmed the Hawaii telefilm before they left but aired it after Graduation.

EB made good on her promise, left the show, and has made soft porn ever since. TAT returned to The College Years upon realization that she couldn't act and would have no career. This small move saved her career enough to allow her to be on stupid nighttime soaps for many years to follow.
