Press release from BBC Online (http://www.bbc.co.uk/cult/doctorwho/news/01060606.shtml):

"He’s back - and he’s online. The Doctor is returning to the BBC for a special one-off audio drama, Death Comes To Time, to be broadcast exclusively on the BBC Doctor Who web site on Friday July 13th 2001.

The 30 minute audio play sees The Doctor enlist the help of a mysterious Time Lord to battle an alien warlord who is fighting for control of time itself.

Death Comes to Time will be the BBC’s very first piece of drama broadcast purely online and is the first new Doctor Who broadcast by the BBC since the TV movie in 1996.

Sylvester McCoy returns as The Doctor with Sophie Aldred as Ace. They will be joined in their adventures by a host of famous and well-known names including Stephen Fry, John Sessions and Jacqueline Pearce (Servalan from Blake’s 7).

A trailer for the production will premiere here on Friday June 15th. Make a note in your 500 year diary.

In the meantime, we will be interviewing Sylvester McCoy about his involvement in the project very shortly. Don't miss the opportunity to ask Sylvester a question.

Don't forget to visit our Death Comes to Time feature too."
