Dunno looks like Dark angel moved to the dead spot on FOX!
:( Well it was nice while it lasted. |

from what I read its the same assasination. It's a "real time" drama that will span out over 24 episodes....sounds cool if they can pull it off. |

"Let's program Family Guy against Friends and Smackdown. Then we can be sure that those internet geeks will never be able to watch or tape it."
Thanks Fox. Jeesus, did Seth McFarlane run over Rupert's kid or what? |

Damn it, these programming heads piss me off!!! :grunt: It has been written already that this is basically a last stand for Family Guy - if it doesn't "do well", it's being cancelled for good. So what does FOX do? They put it up against the #1 comedy program on TV!! Not only that, but the demographic for both is pretty much the same, which means all these people tune in to Friends and there's nobody left to watch Family Guy. Oh yeah, and this is all before calculating in the possible re-scheduling of Survivor in this slot, as well! -rolleyes- Sorry guys, I just had to get that out of my system. I mean, damn, this show borders on genius sometimes (right on par with The Simpsons, IMHO). |

Is there something better to watch on Fridays? I don't really watch TV on Friday nights but it's probably going to change in the fall. Or I can just tape every episode which will be kind of a pain. |
Wow, the Family Guy crew must have family/mob ties at Fox, because I thought that show was cancelled last season. It certainly never made big waves. I thought the Tick was a mid season thing, it'll be interesting to see if it works. As for Dark Angel, i'm glad that Buffy wannabe has the ratings death night, maybe that'll be the nail in its coffin.

I compare it to those Dark Skies and Paranormal Investigation shows that are X-Files rip offs. Or when Fox developed Millennium, suddenly NBC rushed a creative team to make Profiler. Sure there are tons of differances, but the basic blueprint is the same, and, taking that into account the writing and characters on the originals (Buffy, X-files, Millennium) make Dark Angel and the like laughable in comparison. |

Let's not forget though that X-Files was originally on Friday nights. |
