Kind of a ho-hum episode.... some funny moments, I liked the whole Ross/cop thing... but an otherwise slow episode. Still this is not an invitation to bash the show.... I still watched it and will watch every episode made. There's only one more season left, just let me enjoy it.

Is it my imagination or did Kathleen Turner used to be scorching hot? She looks like Frankenstein's monster now.

The also teased a "big surprise" next week for the wedding episode. I'm guessing that Monica is going to announce that she's expecting a little Bing-a-ling.

JohnPhoenix 05-10-01 09:30 PM

I predict Ross is going to get married...again.

MasterofDVD 05-10-01 09:52 PM

Yeah, my mind has been going a mile a minute thinking about the surprise. It better not be something negative. Not sure if I can handle that and seeing the last "normal" X-Files all in one season.

huzefa 05-10-01 10:12 PM

My guess (and this comes from readings TONS of gossip columns) is also that Monica's got a bun in the oven. But the bigger surprise would be if somebody else got married too.

Well, she was playing Chandler's dad! She used to be a man.:D

adamblast 05-11-01 02:18 AM

Actually, she still IS a man, I think. Just a permanent drag queen, more or less...

I was hoping they'd do a Kathleen Turner/Morgan Fairchild "reunion" bit on next week's show -- looks like they're going to...

Now i see where Chanlder got his fat genes.

I think pheobe and joey are going
to get married but thats a huge wild guess!
It probably is that monica is pregnant.

That was the first thing that came to my mind when I first heard there would be a "surprise." And even this week's episode could be thought of as an indication to such (maybe not married, but like a proposal or something).

Then again, the little bing-a-ling would be a much more realistic guess.

huzefa 05-12-01 11:09 AM

I'm not speculating here, I'm telling it like it's going to happen. Monica is preggers!! Deal with it. Anything else happening (like a second wedding) would take away from the Mon-dler wedding, so it ain't gonna happen.

Tsar Chasm 05-12-01 02:59 PM

Sorry to say it but Friends has jumped the shark :(

I only hope that the absolute final episode we find out that Phoebe is really with the NSA or CIA or something.

Actually that is very old news. Its long been known that the creative team decided that by the end of the series they would all be paired off.

i missed the episode before this one .. so .. i may be in the dark

if Moni is pregant .. i'd say "tie in for spin off" (Friends 2021)

caipirina 05-13-01 04:14 PM

no, actually i think the big surprise will be Chandler saying
" I, Chandler, take thee JANICE....."

or did we have had that yet ?

If you remember, there was an episode in this season in which they told Janice that she can't come to the wedding. So I doubt chandler will say that.

caipirina 05-13-01 08:16 PM

right .. i remember ..

and Janice is of course the type who would go by those rules :) Maybe she comes in disguise, chandler says the wrong name .. she gets up, we see her .. BIG SURPRISE .. and the season is over ..

naaaa, would be too much of a copy of the London desaster
