I remember this show on TV about 2 years ago that got canned after about 5 episodes. It was about these 3 criminals that got picked up by this guy who would let their charges go if they do all this spy work for them. And I remember that one of the criminals was a major hottie. That's all I can remember. I remember this show being very addictive, I was watching it every week.

Sounds a bit familiar... I don't know the name, but it was on UPN, Wb or maybe even USA -- not one of the big 3/4 networks.

Wasn't this the plot to The Mod Squad movie?

Seriously, did it have Ice-T in it?

I think it was called Players. Also starred Costas Mandylor.

It was three convicts working for the FBI to satisfy parole requirements, or something like that.

I assume you're thinking of Players, but that was on the Peacock. If I'm not mistaken, it got the classic network treatment.

Exec: What do you think of this show?
Analyst: It's intelligent, unique, and raises the overall quality of our network.
Exec: Wonderful! Sandwich it between two stupid shows on Friday nights where no one will ever see it. Then cancel it quickly claiming it's ratings are too low.

Julie Bowen (plays Carol Vessy on Ed) was on a show called "Three". Isn't this the show you're talking about?

Oh yeah! Three. I had completely forgotten about that show. How could they cancel a show starring the most prolific actor of all time ... David Warner?
