'Simpsons' gang sees D'oh April 30, 2001 Web posted at: 11:24 AM EDT (1524 GMT) NEW YORK (Reuters) -- The voices behind Fox's long-running hit comedy "The Simpsons" are closing new deals that will hike their annual salaries by almost 43 percent to $2.2 million, Variety reports. Each cast member will receive $100,000 an episode for seasons 13 and 14, up from $70,000 currently, with an option for a 15th season that will pay them $125,000. (Each season is 22 episodes.) |
I'm the biggest Simpsons fan ever but they really need to shoot this wounded animal NOW!

It looks like they wont shoot it until 2005 at the earliest.

Not suprising really. It just goes to show how bad tv has gotten; that even though Simpsons has become a little tired and lackluster the past few seasons, it still draws good ratings after all these years.

exactly what i was thinking Bust.

If they can keep the quality at the same level as last Sunday's episode, I say go for it!
Gald to see they're getting a pay raise too. It would really suck if the writing got better again only to have the regular cast members start walking away. |
The Simpsons is still on the air?
