Originally posted by JohnPhoenix Garfield He-Man Scoooby Doo Smurfs Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends DuckTales Gummibears On a semi-related note, does anyone remember a theme park called Hanna-Barbera Land? I used to go to the one in Houston, TX (don't know if that was the only one or not) when I was young, but don't remember anything about it unfortunately. My mom still has a tape from the mid 80s with me and my sister "on the set" of Scooby-Doo, helping Shaggy and the gang solve a mystery. I guess they used a chroma-key ("green screen" or "blue screen" that weathermen and many movies use) to do it, but I don't remember. Anyone remember that theme park? |

Star Trek - the cartoon.
featuring the voices of the original series actors. Quality show. |
Originally posted by Titmouse I forgot about Speed Racer, man I wish that would come out on DVD! The DVD also has: Specs on the Mach 5 Trivia game Music video Commentary by the guy who voiced Speed, Racer X and the announcer and the woman who did Trixie, Mom, and Spridle. A 'featurette' called The Treacherous Pirate as an easter egg. The featurette has nothing to do with Speed Racer? I haven't seen it, but have thought about buying it. A local B&M has had a few copies of it for awhile for $16 or so. |
Jeez... How could I forget these ones:
Star Blazers Flintstones Jetsons |
Johnny Quest (that theme music still makes me feel like I get to stay home from school.)

Robotech G.I. Joe Transformers Battle of the Planets (G-Force) The Littles Dragon's Lair MASK He-Man Wheelie and the Chopper Bunch Fat Albert & The Cosby Kids (Brown Hornet) Groovy Ghoulies .. and although not cartoons... A cartoon called Star Blazers, that thanks to dvd talk I finnally remmebered the name. I'm almost afraid to watch them again(they are on dvd), the years may have changed them(or me).

Many listed here already.... but it reminded me of this. I recently was in a discussion with friends about this same topic. Silver Hawks came up. Now, all 5 of us watched the show on a regular basis, but no one could recall the basic storyline at all. I.e. who were they, and what the hell were they doing? Any help out there? A singular thread about this would make me feel even more foolish...
