Do you watch full length TV shows and movies on your phone?

Yes or no?

I'll watch YouTube videos, but never full length movies or shows.

If I'm on the go, I'll watch them on my IPad or Laptop. But never on my phone.

If itís like a half hour tv series or something once in a great while. For instance I put on episodes of The Simpsons through Simpsons World on the FXX app sometimes. I do also watch YouTube on my phone too, but mainly when Iím killing time and not actively using it for that purpose.

Re: Do you watch full length TV shows and movies on your phone?

Not movies often, maybe on an airplane. But I run on a treadmill a LOT, and watching TV shows is how I make it through. I won't watch something I truly love like Game of Thrones or Westworld or Mad Men. But other things that I'm more casual about I have no problem with watching on my phone when I run. I have found that things like text messages on screen are kinda unreadable, but otherwise, it's usually okay.

I especially recommend the phone/treadmill for hate-watching a series as I have done with such shows as The OA, The Act, and True Detective Season 2.

Ipad or laptop, possibly, on my phone, I could never do that.

I've downloaded Amazon and Netflix programming for my phone to watch while flying. But after I got a Fire tablet, I use that now.

I make calls on my phone or some watch stuff on YouTube, like coding videos. Other than that, zip. TV shows and movies belong on an actual TV.

I'll watch part of a basketball or baseball game on my phone (YouTubeTV) if my kids are using the normal tv. I have watched complete games before when stuck at my kids orchestra rehearsal, but thats pretty rare.

not since something like 2007 or something. Except GOT, the battle of Winterfell was amazing on my 6" screen!

Re: Do you watch full length TV shows and movies on your phone?

Absolutely not. Tablets and laptops ... lots of times.

I forget the specific movie, but recently I was talking to someone about a big-budget action movie I enjoyed and they told me it wasn't particularly impressive. When I asked when they saw it, they told me it was broken up into several viewings on their phone in between doing other stuff. I just ... was pretty much struck speechless at that point.

I would not watch a full length movie on my desktop or Ipad or Kindle.

I do, when traveling. I rip DVDs to video files and put them on my phone. I watch them on the plane or when I'm exercising on the treadmill in a hotel's exercise room.

All the time. Sometimes I'm just lazy and just want to watch in bed. I've never warmed up to tablets and only use them when working out.

Re: Do you watch full length TV shows and movies on your phone?

I don't own a smart phone yet, still using flip phones, but if I did I wouldn't try to watch stuff on my phone. I have never tried to watch anything but the occasional youtube video on my tablet. I have a nice big TV at home to watch movies and TV shows on with my wife, I have never had any desire to try to watch anything on my tablet, let alone on a phone.

Re: Do you watch full length TV shows and movies on your phone?

Rarely.
I was stuck in an airport one time so I watched 2 seasons of Married with Children to stay semi awake.
But usually I use at least an 8 inch tablet, and that's only when traveling. If I'm at home I'm using a TV.
I will occasionally watch a youtube video or review video if I need to check it out now and my phone's all I have.
But generally, I do not choose to watch actual content of more than a few minutes on my phone.
Never a movie.

I've done that, and I've also brought along a jump drive loaded with movies to pass the time on overseas trips, but I've found that watching movies on the small screen of my phone brings on fairly rapid eye fatigue. So, yes, I've done it, but it's by no means a regular occurrence.

Yeah, just when I'm flying. I also have noise canceling headphones, Sony XM3, so I'm actually able to enjoy it.

Nope. I'll use my laptop or Kindle e-reader when traveling, but I never watch films/tv on a phone.

Yep. Usually watch Hulu while on cardio equipment at the gym. Usually Bob's Burgers, Family Guy or Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

No, I don't have the 10x bionic magnification eyes that would make the task actually worthwhile. The entire concept is oxymoronic as hell. Do you also write with a 1/32" high pen, or read books written in microprint?

I voted no before reading the thread.

I watch on the treadmill. That's the only time and even at that, it isn't very frequent.

I donít get this line of thinking at all.

A 6-12Ē tablet or phone held in your lap, is always going to look bigger than even a 70Ē TV on your wall, unless youíre sitting like 5 feet away from it.

Iím not saying the phone or tablet experience is better or equal, but itís not a size thing.

Now, you say "tablet" -- and a 12" tablet at that! There's a HUGE, huge difference between a 12" tablet and a 3" phone (whose oblong aspect ratio is all wrong for movie or TV viewing, anyway)

I'd be delighted to view content on a 12" tablet all day long -- especially with a retina display. There's like a 500% difference in screen square inches vs. that puny 3 or 4" phone. So, I'm with you when you say "tablet", especially when viewed sitting down a foot or so away from your eyes, as you suggest.

Re: Do you watch full length TV shows and movies on your phone?

True, but most current smart phones are at least 6” right? I watch stuff on my iPhone (not a plus size) all the time, and it looks great imho.
