Re: certain websites wont load

Can you try the sites with a different browser to see if you experience the same issue?

Have you tried doing a Malwarebytes scan to determine if Malware could be the culprit? How about a virus scan?

Have you recently added an add-on to Firefox?

That's great!

Just for precautionary measures I keep a backup of my entire Firefox profile folder on a USB key in case something goes crazy.

Easy to copy and paste the folder and everything is back in working order. Also great to test things out.

Re: certain websites wont load

I don't leave my computer on 24/7, too many things can go wrong. When my wife & I go to bed our computers get shut down, give them a rest just like we do ourselves. I sold a computer to a guy who ran a home-based business, he called me about 3 weeks after I sold it to him, said his DVD drive wouldn't work. We talked for a bit, found out he never turns his computer off. I suggested he shut the computer down for a minute, then restart it, which he did. Everything worked like charm.
