Anyone know a good storage device for iPhone?

Need something to transfer internal storage to an external device that plugs into iPhone 6. Tried an I-easy driver but doesn't really hold a connection and transfer. Looking for something at Amazon or Best Buy.
Thanks for help.

What are you trying to accomplish?

You can backup the phone to a pc through iTunes.
You can backup the phone to an Apple Time capsule.
The phone already backs up to the cloud via iCloud.

If you are trying to plug in some kind of thumb drive or hard drive, what would be the interface to move the data?

Sandisk has one. Lightning on one side, regular USB on the other.

Re: Anyone know a good storage device for iPhone?

Well, the Sandisk is a total bust. Couldn't get it to work on mom's iPhone. Was on with support but that did nothing. Seems it won't transfer from iPhone to flash drive. Get an error message that iPhone storage is full. It seems it is dumping there and not transferring to drive. Frustrating...

Are you using the iXpand Drive app?

This adds both storage and battery in a case for the iPhone 6/6s:

There's also wifi based devices:

Unfortunately, almost everything will require the use of their specific app, since iOS doesn't really have support for expandable storage built-in.

Yes, used the app. Didn't work. Said phone storage was full. Wouldn't copy to flash drive.

I don't know about the 2 above. The first will be too expensive and the second seems complicated and didn't say how much storage it has...

It might be a crazy thing where the app needs some space on the internal drive before moving files to the external drive. Like it copies the files into the app's storage space before transferring them to the USB.

The 2nd one doesn't have and storage built it; you add storage via an SD card or USB Flash drive. It can handle up to a 128 GB SDHC card. Or you could swap in and out smaller capacity cards.
