Re: Are you getting an iPad Air?
Indecently, gamestop is also currently running a sale on all their used tablets. If you can find a Scratch and Scuff model Ipad 4 16GB, it would be $291 before taxes. There is a power up rewards mystery coupon (if you are a power up rewards member) that costs 500 points and is 25% off any used purchase (includes ipads). With that coupon, a scratch and scuff ipad 4 16 GB would cost $218 + tax. I found one that had a flawless screen and only light scuffing on the back.

I need to research these TMO deals.
I have an iPad Mini and love it. LOVE IT. But the Air is very tempting as is the new retina Mini.

Went to Best Buy this morning at 9am to avoid waiting in line and was able to snag a 64GB Space Grey model. At work right now so I haven't gotten a chance to take it out of the box yet and try it out.

I looked at T-Mobile and unless I'm missing something, it looks like they're only selling the 16GB and 32GB models. Considering my 64GB is almost full, that kills the deal for me.

Pretty easy to get. Ordered for in-store pickup while on the bus this morning, just picked it up at 2pm.
64 GB Space Gray. I have the white phone, but I like the black face on the iPad for the tv watching etc etc.
It's very nice - It has an amazingly smaller form factor - in that it feels a lot smaller but it's not. and of course it's light as all get out

Why not just get the Verizon 128gb or 64gb version? It supports tmobile 4g and 4GLTE bands.

Re: Are you getting an iPad Air?
Because T-Mobile is offering no-interest financing. The issue isn't the 64/128gb models don't exist, the issue is that T-Mobile isn't selling them directly.

Re: Are you getting an iPad Air?
be aware that the no-interest financing has a catch if you are not a T-Mobile customer already and are planning on using it for the Free 200 MB a month. It will cost $10 a month extra. I ended up just buying the 128GB T-Mobile from apple using the 12 month no interest instead. If you are not a voice customer, you must buy the unit outright or it's another $120/yr, which sort of defeated the purpose to me since my iphone is with ATT. I figured 200MB is enough for basic browsing/e-mail. If I actually needed to stream Netflix or something over 4g, I could just tether it

I don't want to open up yet another credit line if I don't have to.
On top of that, it doesn't look like they're selling the T-Mobile version.
Even on Apple's site, the 128gb T-Mo version says it doesn't ship for 5-10 days, so maybe it's not available yet.

Ah okay, I guess just wait a few days though... But if you are near 64 now, might consider 128

Re: Are you getting an iPad Air?
I've been using mine since this afternoon and I've noticed the following things compared to my old iPad 2:
1) The use of MIMO for the Wi-Fi antennas makes a huge difference in streaming videos. I used to have trouble streaming YouTube videos on the iOS YouTube app from my bedroom; now, it works vastly better with virtually no stuttering.
2) Many apps now start a lot faster.
3) The Retina Display resolution screen makes a huge difference in readability of text with the Amazon Kindle app.
4) It's definitely lighter and physically smaller than my old iPad 2, which means I can hold it with one hand for a lot longer period of time.

Re: Are you getting an iPad Air?
Out of curiosity, I checked for my iPad 3 (64 gb, wifi), and it offered me $205. Most places are offering at least $250. Also that was for the online trade-in, as apparently no Targets in Los Angeles are participating in the trade-in deal.

Re: Are you getting an iPad Air?
Yes, I've done that before, but in this case I want cash.
And T-Mobile has added the 64 and 128gb iPads on their website. Just ordered a Space Grey 128gb. It's backordered but I can wait. $299 down and $26 and change per month for 24 months. And I get the free LTE per month.

Just curious, do you have to pay tax on the full cost right away or is it divided into the payment plan?
