Question for Apple experts

Coming to the US in a few weeks and want to buy an Apple Macbook.
I'll be in Las Vegas and was wondering if I go into the Apple Store and order one with a few options would they normally have it in the store or ready for collection in a few days?

Re: Question for Apple experts

On their site it says "Since Apple builds your custom-configured Mac to order, we need to build it before we can ship it, which takes a little extra time. In most cases, it only takes a few days to build your Mac and a few more to ship to your door."

It will probably take between one and two weeks. You can customize on their website nd see if they have that exact model already in stock at the local store. Zip code is 89109 for the Apple Store at Caesars Palace in Vegas, it also has a few of the surrounding area Apple Stores as well.

Unfortunately to customize it online and have it sent to an Apple Store, you still need a US billing address.

If you don't want configure it, you can just go to Best Buy and buy one there. Most of the configurations you can do them yourself, add memory, hard drive/SSD, etc.

CPU and graphics mods are not possible of course. At least not easily.

Re: Question for Apple experts

You can order one in advance and they will have it at the store for pickup a few days after. Never heard of having to have a US address though. I'd call Apple.

Re: Question for Apple experts

I just picked up a 13 rMBP from an Apple Store on Sunday. I placed the order online and went to the store a few hours later to get it. It was a base model so they had it in stock. But I don't recall ever entering any address in. If you have an iTunes account, they have all your info already. You just verify your credit card number and make sure you have that credit card with you when you go in (and photo ID).
