Connecting PC to large HDTV

Is it as simple as having a video card with HDMI out and plugging it in the HDMI on the HDTV or are there more complicated steps?

How do internet websites look on large 40" screens? Maybe I am thinking wrong, but it seems like PC text is made for small screen monitors with a larger DPI, so it would look blurry on large TVs with a much lower DPI.

It's just that easy. You may need to go into the Display settings on the computer to customize how you want it to display on the TV.

Keep the resolution high and up the size (zoom) in the web browser, I will say it can be difficult to get some websites to display perfectly on a TV.

1080p is sufficient.

I'd also suggest, if you are using Windows on PC, to check out the Kylo browser. as they say, "it's built for the big screen."
