Rotating Video to Be Right Side Up with Maximum Quality

I videoed something on my Ipod Nano and it's wrong side up. I know how to rotate it on Final Cut Pro 7. *HOWEVER* whenever I export it, it's usually in a badly rendered letterbox format or with a full black border around a small picture.

Is there a way to "flip" it so it's anamorphic with the best picture possible and right side up?

Thanks

Try QuickTime Player 7 Pro. If you do cmd-I, you can find some image rotation options. Once you get it rotated in the correct orientation, use File > Export to re-encode it.
