Wireless internet?

I've had wireless internet with Charter for almost a year and I was wondering if there box could possibly be jacking up my electric bill. Would it hurt to shut it off at night when not in use? They said is was ok to leave it on all the time .

If you have a. Kill a watt or similar, you can measure power consumption. The power brick should also list power consumption. My guess is it probably isn't using much power though. You could turn it off at night to save a little bit power
