Good Black Friday Deals

A couple I've seen...

I have the 4350 model which is similar to this All-In-One (but adds fax and sheet feeder) and it's very good:

Looks like a pretty good deal for a 2TB drive. I'll probably open it up and take out the drive:

Re: Good Black Friday Deals

Nice deal on the aio laser printer. These days, I think I'd rather have a wireless printer. Is it long enough to scan legal size papers?

Re: Good Black Friday Deals

Mine is long enough. It might be because it has a sheet feeder. Not sure about the one on sale.

Re: Good Black Friday Deals

I got a Canon ImageCLASS back in September. Works like a champ.

I might snag that 2 TB drive. I recently expanded the HDD space on my laptop and need something bigger than my 1 TB drive for backups.

Is there a site where I can search all ads simultaneously? I'm trying to find a deal on the WD TV Live Hub. Or any similar device that will let me play .avi files through my television set.

I couldn't imagine what I'd do with 3 GB of storage. Then again I don't use bittorrent.

I got one to use as a backup drive. One place to keep most of my archived backups and several other drives to keep another copy.

Along with backups of computers and my work, I keep all my software discs and all my music (wav format) on hard drives so there's a lot to backup. I sure wouldn't want to have to recopy all those CDs!

The linked one was the 420, not the 4350.

Re: Good Black Friday Deals

Ok. Just wanted to make sure you didn't look up the 4350, liked it, and thought that's what you were getting.

The scanner and the printer are mostly all I use. The scanner has some nice software that can scan directly to PDF and the unit used as a copier is very good. Extremely good copies.

Re: Good Black Friday Deals

Fyi there are tons of deals listed on deal websites like slickdeals and fatwallet. If you are looking for something particular, set up a deal alert.

Also, some of the best deals i have gotten never make it to fp, so deal alert is very useful.

I could fill it with HD video quickly. I shoot live bands and often end up with 30+ GBs of video for a single show.

I don't know what the difference between the 2230 and 2240 is, but Office Depot and Office Max have the 2240 for $50.

Re: Good Black Friday Deals

I have a hl2140 which I got for $25 a few years back and it works great. Make sure whatever model you get has generic cartridges otherwise oem is very expensive. There is also a tape trick where you tape over the sensor of the toner cartridge, I probably got close to double the life on the included cartridge.

I registered my printer and a few months later, brother sent me a free toner cartridge saying something about how the cartridge wasn't giving enough yield.

Re: Good Black Friday Deals

If anyone is looking for a color aio with adf and fax, canon 892 is $60 and has cheap generic ink.

Re: Good Black Friday Deals

Is there a better deal on a Kindle Fire HD than the $30 GC at Best Buy?

Was hoping Amazon would do something today, but there doesn't appear to be anything on their schedule.

Re: Good Black Friday Deals

^^ I think that's your best bet. I saw similar or slightly lesser deals at Staples and Office Max, in case you prefer their gift certificates.
