Firefox trouble....

OK, deep, calming breaths. All of a sudden, when I open a new tab in Firefox, I get Bing! I used to be able to use the URL search bar with the Google I'm Feeling Lucky to just type in what I wanted. Now it's using Bing directly. I dd not download Bing, and cannot find it on my computer anyplace. I have tried using the about:config method to put Google back, but even when I do, I still get the Bing stuff. It is driving me Joker crazy. I don't suppose anyone know how to fix it?

EDIT: http://www.google.com/search?btnI=I%...eling+Lucky&q=

OK, by removing an add-on, I have solved that problem, but now even when I reset the search bar, I cannot get it to take me directly like it used to even after I put Google back in.

EDIT II: FIXED IT!

Well, first it had to do with the removal of add-ons. One of the add-ons I removed solved the problem, though to be perfectly honest, I'm not sure which. After that, close and reopen Firefox. Then, I did this. Then closed and reopened again.

Re: Firefox trouble....

Bing is an annoying piece of shit.

I wonder if any of the virus scanners will start treating it as spyware. (Well, maybe not Microsoft Security Essentials.)

So I see.

I don't know, I didn't download it and I don't know how the hell it got there, but that's a damn good idea.
