Best place to buy blank Blu's with Lightscribe?

I just grabbed a Blu burner with Lightscribe from Best Buy, but they only sell Lightscribe DVDs, not Blu...anyone know of the best/cheapest place to grab some?

Thanks,

~S2K

I haven't seen any BD-R with Lightscribe. Are you sure the Lightscribe isn't just for DVD-R?

Yeah, it might have Lightscribe technology, it just doesn't do any good if they don't make any Lightscribe BD-Rs. (I don't know if they do, I just have never heard of them. BD-R is so expensive already that it seems a useless feature to add cost to them until they become more common and less expensive.)

BD-R is actually pretty cheap now.
You can get 30 for around $25.

Re: Best place to buy blank Blu's with Lightscribe?

While it's a lot less than it used to be, I don't call that "cheap" like 10-20¢ per DVD. I do use BD-R now for backups though because I need the capacity and when you fill them the price is comparable, maybe even better than DVD-R.

I never saw a reason to pay more for Lightscribe on DVD-R though. Maybe it will die off.

Supermediastore doesn't list any BD-Rs with lightscribe surfaces, so I doubt they're available.

Have you used the lightscribe feature at all? It was probably the most frustrating things I ever dealt with until I tried authoring blu-ray discs.
