Don't forget about duel view. Watch tv and surf the web at the same time. Nice little tool to have and use once in awhile.

Do you need a cable box hooked up to one of these or can you use this as such cable -> GoogleTV -> Tv?

you need an hdmi source(from a cable box or other source) to feed the revue if you want to use the integrated web/tv features. you can't connect the revue directly to the cable wall outlet, if that's what you are asking.

Ordered one, will hopefully be here next week. The two local stores that carry them (Best Buy, CompUSA) are currently sold out They also have kiosks dedicated to them now which I found a little odd, almost like the $99 is a relaunch.

Thanks D.Pham00, that's what I was wondering. I'm just mostly looking for something to get Netflix and other streaming content into a spare room.

if you just want netflix and other streaming, you can consider the roku, which is cheaper for the base model compared to the revue. make sure that the revue has the streaming content you need.

If Roku would get it's act together and support streaming from a media server it would be a contender. Also, I read that new customers have to give them a credit card or Paypal to use the device now.

WD Live is a good device, but you have to buy a compatible WiFi adapter separately. That's product design failure.

Wow, that is a major fail.

Do you know what protocol it uses to stream? I'm pretty sure Roku doesn't do DLNA.
