stupid YouTube question.
I'm saying it's stupid because I just can't figure it out for the life of me. The "old" YouTube format used to allow you to filter categories: most viewed...highest rated...this week...this month...all time, etc.
Is this still possible? I don't see this option anymore.

Re: stupid YouTube question.
So you actually have to type something into the search engine for it to work now? That's stupid! You used to be able to just go straight from the homepage, click a category (music, comedy, etc.) and then immediately filter. Now those filtering options are hidden. Am I missing something?

1. Goto Youtube, click on "Browse"
2. Click on the Down arrows next to "Videos / All categories" and select a category.
3. In the category, next to "Popular" and "Most Viewed," there's a "More" option. Clicking on that brings up these other filters:
* Spotlight Videos
* Rising Videos
* Most Discussed
* Recent Videos
* Most Responded
* Top Favorited
* Top Rated
* Rentals
* As Seen On
Is this similar to what you were looking for?

Almost, but not quite. Here's where I get stuck.
-Open YouTube
-click "browse"
-click on "music", just below the YouTube logo.
....now how the heck do I filter "music" from here?
