winamp playing too fast

my winamp is playing very fast, and I can't slow it down.... HELP

This happened to me when my cousins stayed over and screwed with my winamp. They were trying to burn a cd and changed some of the output settings. I can't remember what exactly I did to fix it, but it had something to do with output settings. More specifically, I think it had to do with the WaveOut settings. Hope that gets you on the right track.

I cant remember exactly. But go to preferences (ctrl + p) go to plugins and then go to output.

Try selecting plugins without the output/inout selections highlighted. Then close it.
