I was wondering how I could get my compter to display on my monitor and a 27" TV I have at the same time.

I play aloy of older low resolution games and would like to get them on the bigger screen when I play.

Is there some sort of splitter that I could use that would split the monitor output to an output for the monitor and RCA's for the TV?

I don't have a video card with any sort of TV out or anything. Would I need one to do this?

Thanks for your help

Yeah, you would need a video card with video out. as for being displayed on both monitor and tv i'm not sure about. I know that if you had two vid cards and an operating system that can handle dual monitors, it would work. but one video card to two monitors (or monitor and tv), i'm not too sure about.

A simple VGA to NTSC scan converter will do the trick. It acts as a pass thru from vid card to your monitor and usually has s-video and rca out for your tv. $100 or less...

kinda like this one:

Using the computer on regular TV isn't always great. I've tried and it's much blurred than what you see on computer montior. If you really need it, just find a video card with TV output.
