Looking for freeware to append file creation date to filename.
Title says it all.
I need to find decent freeware that can append a file's creation date to the filename.
I have found freeware that can append *a date* to the filename, but you're supposed to specify the date that you want to append. What I want is freeware that can read the creation date, and append that date to the filename.
Anyone know of such a program?
Thanks in advance.

This is easiest with a quick dos/batch script where you can query the date and append it to the file. Just google and you will get the syntax you need.
