Macbook and wireless problem.

I've been having problems with my wireless connection on one of my Macbooks. It has started ever since I replaced my router. To be specific, between the two Macbooks, one of them has an extremely slow connection, sometimes even timing out when trying to load a webpage. At times, speeds will be acceptable and then it goes in and out. On the other Mac, the speed seems to be okay and it never times out. This all happens regardless if I'm downloading anything or not. I've replaced routers before and have never experienced any problems like this.

It is a secured connection and the Macbook indicates it receiving a strong signal, but for some reason, I'm experiencing the problems as mentioned. Any solutions or ways to troubleshoot?
